I like the idea that the chairs are empty, suggesting the people are walking along the shore or swimming.

The use of red here and black are unusual for me but I like the contrast they provide. You can’t see this from the photo, but the black and white papers have a little dimension to them and some sparkle.  Since this photo was taken, I recently added 5 seagulls flying above, just to add a little more life to the piece.
